Watching the live coverage of the International Football England v Kazakhstan on Saturday 11 October 2008 on ITV1 between 4.30pm to 7.15pm and then the highlights programme later in the evening 11.00pm to 12.00 midnight, during both coverages the presenters mentioned that Ukraine are playing in Kharkov and obviously it should have been Kharkiv in English.
I have already complained to ITV and managed to get to the relevant department – they gave me their direct number 0844 881 4150. The Viewer Services Officer will pass this onto the Sports Team. It only takes 1 or 2 minutes so surely it is very important especially for all the Ukrainian official bodies to complain so that they fully understand. Thank you. Would be good if the Ukrainian Embassy officially complained but I do not know who takes care of these kind of matters there.
